Austin graduated from Jr High. Can you believe it? I cant wait until next year for football. He is taller than me. Not that that's hard to beat but still. Insane.

Austin was in a job training program with his school. He choose the profession Justice. He was in the program for 3 days and had a blast. I'm proud of him for wanting to be a cop. I think this summer I am going to enroll him in the explorer program with the Sheriffs department. Wow this month was pretty much all about Austin.

Ed & I are getting ready for Hawaii in 2 weeks and we cant wait. I dream of Mai Tais. Corven is fabulous and such a girl......Shes alot of fun. The Salon is doing great. We've gone through alot of changes and all the changes are all in my favor. I cant wait til its more put together so I can finally post pics of the Salon. Slowly but surely...I'm still loving it and I'm so happy I made the transition.

Well there was Easter.... Corven was so sweet in her dress & Austin was such a teenager about getting an Easter basket....Of course my dad made a fabulous meal & It was so nice outside we got to spend the evening in the jacuzzi drinking wine all night. Do you like Corven in her bikini with grandpa. It was great....Corven wasn't too much into finding the Easter eggs but she sure like the smarties candies....

I had yet another birthday..What I wanted for my birthday was for my shop to be painted & I got it. Ed, Dad & I spent 3 long days painting it....For god sakes I just want it to look pretty. I didn't expect so much manual labor...I added a Hats Off Hair Design page on Facebook. So drop by & become a fan...

The flu is running around the Corrick compound right now. This is no fun....

T8 (my own personal MAC artist) did my make up here so I had some updated pics for my blogs & to add to my business cards... I wish she could do my make up everyday...I've gone to an Adavanced MAC make up class so I can offer make up as a service also. Since I have my Cosmo license I can take all the classes that they offer...It's fun....

Crazy Crazy Crazy Month......

I graduated School finally, went to state board & got my license. Finally.......This has been such a long road..Another amazing thing that has happened is I bought Hats Off Hair Design for Cheryl Hoffman. She is retiring on 4-17-09. I'm going in the shop Thurs & Fridays to help then I take clients whenever I can..... I'm going to be building my dad a massage room in the salon so he can take clients on the weekends. I'm really excited about all these fun changes that are happening.

I got to go house hunting for a few weeks because my dad is buying a couple houses in Yucca Valley to rent out. We picked up 2 really great houses... I'm so excited for him..I'm going to help him manage them & get them rented since I live here.....We make such a great team.

Corven is talking away like crazy.... She's saying sentences and has so much personality...I get to be home with the kids now since I am only working Thursdays, Fridays & Sundays by appointment only. It's been real nice to be with them...

Ed won Coachella Valley Sales Man of the Year. Thats my baby... With this he won us a 7 day 6 night all expense paid trip to Hawaii. I'm so proud of him..We are going to the big Island. We've only been to Maui so this will be a first for us...We get a 1 bedroom condo & the pictures look amazing...& NO THE KIDS ARE NOT GOING.....We will be there July 6th thru 12th so it will be nice to be there for our 15 year anniversary on July 9th.....

Austin is offically taller than me....High school next year...WOW where has the thime gone. He is so amazing with Corven...

Summer is coming & we are all so ready for the boat....

Not much for February. I helped with an It&ly hair show. It was alot of fun (more on show posted on www.cindycorrick.blogspot.com. Pretty slow month......

January 2009

January was a bitter sweet month. I had to say good bye to my friend Karen who moved to Hawaii for 3 years..... At least me & the girls made it to one more happy hour before she left.... From left Tait, Kim, Me & Karen.

1-20-09 was Ed's 40th birthday. We had the best time. Ed & I went out to dinner by ourselves then I had some friends surprise him @ Kokopelli's (our local bar). from left is Me, Ed George, Sunny, Kim, Bill, Brian & Tait.

Corven First birthday 11-23-08

Well Corven turned 1. Shes so sweet. We had a house full. She also found her purse collection... I'm so proud of her. She already loves to accessorize.
